Let’s Find a Restaurant With a View! 2.0

We will continue our search of the best restaurants around the world with a view further. In the last piece I have added names of restaurants which are not only stunning in its view, but also serves world-class food with some of those restaurants having world-renowned chefs as their badge of honor. It is already a given that food and ambience goes hand-in-hand. If one restaurant lacks in one of the two things, it won’t be a wholesome experience for the guests no matter where you are.

We have already discussed places residing cozily inside a crevice of a cave, to one at the bottom of the ocean, to one at the top of the mountain with the world beneath you and more. Today, we are going explore some more options to grab your attention and entice your senses, so that you can’t not make a trip to these heart-wrenchingly beautiful places… and have awesome food too.

Sirocco, Bangkok, Thailand

Sirocco has been considered a place of fine dining which happens to reside on the 63rd floor along with a walk down on a staircase which has an interesting look. The rooftop restaurant gives you the view of Bangkok city at the bottom and the warm breeze resonates the strains of Jazz music oh-so-well.

While we are at it, the head-spinning ‘Sky Bar’ is considered to be the topmost bar existing in the world. While the authentic Mediterranean cuisine has already got a Perfect 10 from the Thailand Tatler magazine in all four categories including – food, wine, ambience and service.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Tanzania

The restaurant gets its name from the famous ‘World heritage Site’ Ngorongoro Crater by the side of which it resides in Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area which extends 8,300 square kilometers stretches from the Rift Valley to the Serengeti. The design of the lodge is like that of a homestead in the middle of the course nature. There are a number of options to choose from when it comes to the activities you can go for while staying at the lodge. There are outdoor travel arrangements as well as board games and an availability of a library inside the lodge. Most importantly, when you finally dine in the cradle of the nature it will provide you the kind of peace maybe you wanted all along, especially, if you’re a person who seeks some away-time from the Metropolis.

Adronis, Santorini, Greece

Santorini maybe a household name to travelers as well as wannabe travelers, but not many people may know the address of this hotel at a beautiful location in the island. At the Adronis Boutique Hotel, you get an exquisite view of the clear blue Aegean Sea from every room. The island is soaked in history itself due to the story of its origin from a volcanic eruption. Soaking up in the sun with the hot Mediterranean Sea while sipping on the cocktails at the terrace while the blue water stretches in front of your eyes is can turn out to be a pretty engaging trip.

Fangweng, Yichang, China

If you’re planning a trip to China you cannot miss the hanging restaurant of Fangweng, Yichang, China. The restaurant resides at the Happy Valley of the Xiling Gorge, a particularly scenic towering cliff, caves and park land located near the place where the Chang Jiang River flows into the Yangtze. The restaurant seems to be a small dent in the face of the menacingly steep vertical wall when you watch it from a distance. Part of the dining which hangs out from the cliff has some sitting arrangements too and people sitting there can enjoy the view of the river flowing at the bottom, whereas, fell like sitting on air while enjoying delectable dishes.

Al Mahara, Dubai, UAE

Dubai’s iconic Burj Al-Arab, the sail shaped hotel resides this distinguished eatery. The seafood restaurant has a floor-to-ceiling length aquarium where you can enjoy a 3-course gourmet meal served with the best-of wines while watching the fishes swim around all around you. There are private transfers available to your hotel after the dinner.

Altitude at Shangri-La, Sydney, Australia

This aptly-named restaurant stands on the top floor of the Shangri-La hotel in the Rocks, overlooking the Sydney Harbor, Sydney Opera House and more are visible from the eatery. The restaurant literally is floating above the Sydney Harbor that provides the best of lookouts around the area. Altitude’s menu was created by Chef De Cuisine, Insup Kim and dessert menu by Executive Pastry Chef Anna Polyviou is exceptional.
