According to a study conducted by the Researchers from Wichita State University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Delta Airlines topped the list of annual ranking of the Us Airlines. These rankings were established Monday after comparing 2018 data across all the US airlines pertaining to these four categories: on-time arrivals, mishandled baggage, passenger bumping and consumer complaints in 2018. The ratings are based on the airline data that was available with the US Transportation Department. Last year Delta was at second position, this year the research has concluded that Delta is the only airline to excel in all the four categories of data listed above for arriving at the rankings.
Among other airlines that made to this list are Jet Blue Airways at second position, followed by Southwest at third place and last year’s topper, Alaska at fourth place this year.
America’s most loved airline by families, Frontier Airlines just managed to occupy the bottommost position in this list of top 10 airlines while American Airlines scrapes through at position 9 in this most coveted list.
These recent rankings of the popular US airlines Suggest that most American airlines are striving to improve their customer service, it may also be noted that this recent study hasn’t considered the customer complaints related to the grounding of Max 8 flights operated by major US Airlines.
