All Nippon Airways to Become First Airline to Have Access to 787-10 Dreamliners in Asia

Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) has just received its first 3 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners on order which make ANA the first airline to use the entire family of Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners in Asia.

The delivery was supposed to take place on March 31 as per media reports, but it has finally arrived for the airline to start using the upgraded models.

Each of the new aircrafts feature 235 upgraded seats in Economy and 21 upgraded seats in Premium Economy, in addition to 38 lie-flat beds in Business Class. All of these seats come with direct aisle access.

ANA will begin using the 787-10 on April 26 on its Narita International Airport in Tokyo to Changi Airport in Singapore route before changing course to Narita-Suvarnabhumi Airport/New Bangkok International Airport from July 01.

The airline stated that it plans to obtain all three 787-10s by the end of 2020 and gradually introduce all of these new model aircrafts to its Southeast Asian routes.

Chairman of CE Strategy Committee and Customer Experience Management and Senior Vice-President at ANA, Hideki Kunugi reportedly commented and acknowledged the fact that ANA indeed is going to be the first airline in the world to take advantage of the new models of the 787 aircrafts (8, 9 and 10).

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American long-haul, mid-size wide-body, jet airliner built using latest technology and come with twin-engines which is more comfortable, fuel-efficient as well as reduces the level of noise compared to other commercial aircrafts.
